1986 Liberty Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar with COA and Display Case
Awesome one dollar silver coin struck in 1986 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty. Coin comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a very nice presentation case.
The obverse of the coin shows Lady Liberty standing in front of the main building from Ellis Island. The coin is marked ELLIS ISLAND GATEWAY TO AMERICA.
The reverse of the coin features Liberty's torch and is marked with a portion of Emma Lazurus' poem THE NEW COLOSSUS GIVE ME YOUR TIRED, YOUR POOR, YOUR HUDDLED MASSES YEARNING TO BREATHE FREE.
This coin is proof condition and is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper (traditional content for a U.S. silver dollar).
Pledged as collateral on a loan and not redeemed, the coin and other items are in excellent. Items will come as pictured.
